"The Bay Ridge Food Co-op (BRFC) brings together friends and neighbors with a common vision for the food on their tables. A first step in accomplishing that vision is to provide access to healthy, sustainable produce through community supported agriculture (CSA). So, we are proud to announce the formation of Yellow Hook CSA.

"Mead Orchards is our family's picturesque, 180-acre fruit orchard and vegetable farm, located in the beautiful Mid-Hudson River Valley of New York! We've been here since 1916, and now grow nearly 40 varieties of apples, as well as peaches, pears, plums, cherries, strawberries and other berries. We also grow a wide variety of delicious greens, summer vegetables, winter squashes, pumpkins, and decorative gourds.

"At Garden of Eve Farm, we operate as sustainably as possible, and grow an incredible diversity of plants. We have 70 varieties of vegetables, 20 varieties of herbs, and 30 varieties of flowers. We use NO poisonous pesticides or herbicides. Instead we rely on plants’ natural defense systems and ecological solutions to solve pest problems.

As environmental advocates, we try to walk our talk and create the changes we want to see in the world through our choices on a daily basis.

"The Golden Earthworm Organic Farm is a Certified Organic CSA farm located on the beautiful East End of Long Island. We serve over 1500 member families within the local communities of Long Island and Queens with our beautiful quality produce.

The farm is nestled on two parcels of pristine farmland protected by a land preservation program on Long Island's North Fork. We currently have 80 acres of land in active production.

"Stoneledge Farm is a 100 acre, certified organic farm located in South Cairo, Greene County, New York in the foothills of the Northern Catskills. The homestead, greenhouses, berry patch and packing barn are located on 50 acres of mostly wooded land supported by a stone ledge running just below the soil surface. The farm fields and main barns are located on nearby additional 50 acres of prime agricultural land adjacent to the Catskill Creek.

"Chubby Bunny Farm is lovingly managed and worked by Dan and Tracy Hayhurst and their young daughter Beatrice. The farm is located in Falls Village, CT, in the northwest corner of the state, in a valley at the base of Canaan Mountain, about 2 and a half hours from NYC.Their 40 acre farm includes pasture, hay fields and about 10 acres of cultivated land for vegetables which they grow using organic & sustainable methods. They have been farming for 10 years, and have been in business for themselves for 5. In addition to growing veggies, they also raise a small flock of sheep and 60 laying hens.

"Grindstone Farm takes excellence seriously. With over 25 years of rich experience in growing a wide range of high quality, certified organic fruits, vegetables, and other organic items, Grindstone Farm has become a well-known leader in Central New York.

Providing a full line of produce, sometimes more than 120 varieties, you'll find everything from A (asparagus and arugula) to Z (zucchini and zinnia). You can buy these organic foods from our secure shopping site.

"Roxbury is a community supported farm, one of the largest in the country, and the first to have a community in New York City. We grow vegetables, herbs, and grass fed animals for over 1000 shareholders representing over 1050 families in four communities--Columbia County, the Capital Region, Westchester County and Manhattan--on 225 acres in Kinderhook, New York.

"Sang Lee Farms is a second generation family farm originally growing produce for the Asian markets in New York and along the east coast.

Over the last fifteen years the farm has shifted its focus to retail, farmers' markets and community supported agriculture. In doing so it has added many new specialty vegetable and herb products, including heirloom tomatoes, multicolored carrots, asparagus, potatoes and garlic.
